To assist the pilots who are judging I have decided to change the order in which the classes are flown. P25 will fly first followed by A25 and finally P&F. The flight order within each class will remain as it is. With just 11 pilots it will be possible to manage any pilot/caller adjacency.
In addition we will aim for reasonable breaks between rounds.

On Mike's behalf here are the scores from today's competition at Leicester MAC.

Thanks to Mike and Leicester MFC for running such an enjoyable event today. Excellent flying from  2026 team pilot Brandon Ransley with a lovely display of P27. Congratulations also to Darren (A25) and Dave (P25) as well!

See you at Ashbourne next week!

Very enjoyable day today with three rounds completed after a short delay for low cloud. Even flew without my coat on at times.

Well done and thanks to all who contributed.

The club. Tea and coffee available throughout the day. As well as use of the excellent flying facilities.
Phil "Notaumatics" Lewis
Chris and Garry (and Keith and Brian) for judging.
Steve for calling for me.

Crosswind blowing in was catching many pilots out and forcing them too close.  Need to practise in crosswinds.

It only takes one error to lose it for several manoeuvres afterwards.  By way of example in the P25 a pilot
* over rolled on the humpty on the way up.
* that meant the humpty was downgraded but also the over roll meant the humpty came in with the half outside loop and also drifted in.
* downgrade for box infringements
* next manoeuvre was loop with two half rolls.  Started very close and got even closer as drifted in through the rolls.
* next manoeuvre half square on corner was angled out but was also rushed and did not use enough box and pulled over at the top very close to centre.
* meaning the half clover had no straight line before the pull down to vertical; had a very tight radius at the top. Still missed centre. Rest of clover was still too close and rushed.
*Only recovered depth on the Reverse ET.

So one relatively minor error on an end manoeuvre caused issues in the next three.
