Hi all,
we are being caused significant problems in keeping track of payments and entries by many people not following the guidelines for entry. Please Please Please could you all ensure that you are aware of and comply with the points below.

1) Do NOT enter a competition until it appears in the competitions list and declared open by the CD. Not All of the dates may be confirmed, not all CD's are ready to take entries. We already have pilots entering competitions that are not open and this causes us some difficulties. You may find that the fee will be refunded and the entry cancelled if you do not follow this guideline
2) Please follow the instructions for completing the entry form and in particular ensure that the payment reference follows the format described. If you do not, we cannot reconcile your name to the competition entry payment quickly and easily.
3) please pay for each competition separately, do not make one payment for multiple competitions.
4) please ensure you pay the correct amount.

At the moment only Hurley is open for entries yet we have pilots entering for Skelbrooke and Buckminster. The bank has received payments with incorrectly completed references so we have payments that cannot be reconciled with competitions.

This may seem bureaucratic but as we have moved from PayPal, the information we receive and our ability to manage payments has become more difficult.

Many thanks for your forbearance but we do need your help to make things work efficiently.

Hello all.
That is a very accurate and needed post by Al W.
I would like to ask that everyone takes heed of this as it is causing large problems in the background
for the financial people in our association.
A comp must not be entered until the cd has posted that it is open and then the payment must follow the clearly set out method. Its not difficult and takes no longer to do correctly !

Thanks everyone

Garry
