Closing Date For Entries Thursday 26th 6pm
Hi Chris
Count me in please, but I am unable to complete the entry form as Sudbury is not listed, nor is the option of "Other" in the list as described in the small print.
Looking forward to a new flying site.
As soon as the form is updated to include Sudbury, I will make payment.
Regards
Brico
I've added Sudbury and "other" to the competition entry form, so everyone should be able to complete an entry form now.
Hi Chris,
Entry and payment sent.
Best wishes
Stephen
Hi Chris
Have entered P only and asked Javed to transfer one of my 2 previous payments in error to this competition.
Peter
Hi Chris,
Entered and paid.
Best wishes,
Mike
I would be happy to judge non-P25 flights Chris. Alternatively, if you only get P25 entries, and you split it into 2 then I'd be happy to judge the P25 bit that doesn't have me flying in it!
Peter
Apologies Chris but I need to pull out of this competion.
Phil
Firstly thank you for the entries.
I do however have however 4 vacant seats:
Judge number 1
Judge number 2
Scorer Notaumatics
Contest Director
I am happy to take any one of these jobs but all four will be a bit of a stretch. This is a new venue that we really should no lose so I do need some volunteers please. I am trying to avoid pilot judging.
Anyone with any ideas please do give me a ring. 07811196418
There will be opportunities for non pilots to fly at lunchtime.
Chris,
I'm tempted to make the journey up there - how are you doing for Judges ??
I could do 'masters' myself and happy to judge the P's (sat through all four rounds @ Bucky)
Greg
Greg,
I am desperate for judges so that would be a great help and appreciated. I can get masters judged for you, I think you could win.
The wheel is still in spin but likely that we will be using old fashion paper.
Chris
I need two P pilots to judge masters please
Hi Chris
I'll volunteer.
Peter
Chris
Just one thing. I can see that the Sudbury flying field W3W location is in the middle of the field but what is the route to get there from the road or will you have signposts out to show the correct way in?
Peter
Hi Peter
In the first instance make your way to the Blue Boar pub but instead of turning left into the pup car park go on down the track past the care home and Scaffold company.
More info later
Chris
If it helps, words from the IMAC website for last year's comp.
Note: You can also go in via the straighter entrance off the A515 just north of the pub (I did).. Note also that there is a gap in the tall popular treeline & the track takes you from there to the r/w..
Field Location
Google Maps: goo.gl/maps/AEK25cHGdmsZ3UM96 (https://goo.gl/maps/AEK25cHGdmsZ3UM96)
Post code: DE6 5GX
Instructions:. You will find along the A515 a hotel called the Boar's Head, turn into that driveway but go straight past the car park. Keep following the path, pass all the houses until you come to an open area and you will be on a concrete road. Follow this past 2 farmhouses and you will reach the farm outbuildings. The concrete road becomes a track, follow the track to the "T" junction, turn right & follow the tree line until you see an opening to the left. You will see the flying site ahead of you. Follow the grass route to the edge of the flying site, you will see the flightline and vehicles parked on the left side.
Thanks Russ, that's what it looked like when I used the What3Words location but there was ambiguity when one reached the T junction. The IMAC instructions are just the job.

Hi Chris,
I can judge Masters as well
Thanks
Keith
Hi Chris
I'd be happy to judge where needs be.
Cheers
Brico
Hi Chris I can judge the F and others as you decide.
A
Also as per Russ's instructions if you're coming off the A50 then you can turn right just after the bridge and traffic lights following the sign for Dove Fields, this takes you down the track directly from the A515. Go through the farmers yards and follow the track to the right then look for the gap in the poplars.
Cary, secretary of Dove Vallry club has mown the strip today ready for the weekend.
On behalf of Chris here are the flight orders for Sunday.
All three rounds will be flown in the following order:- Masters, P - 25, F - 25

All sorted now thanks to Bondaero!
Many thanks to Chris and Adrian for finding a new venue for F3A competition. It turned out to be a very easy venue to reach and find over the last mile!
I logged 154 miles each way with less than 10 miles not on dual carriageway/motorway. Perhaps today was unusual, but I suffered no delays going or coming home.
Thanks also to Graham and Beryl for their help and to the other judges and those who set-up and cleared the box markers. Finally, thsnkx Chris for having that 3 blader in stock!!
Thank you to Chris and Adrian for organising this comp with Dove Valley Flyers and to the club themselves for hosting us at their great facility.
Thank you to all those who judged and to Team Gooch on Notaumatics and photography.
Well done to all podium pilots 👍
Finally thank you to the weather gods who were kind to us today
Mike
On behalf of Chris, here are the results from today.
Apologies but I do not have the same software as Phil to be able to convert .pdf files but I have done what I am able to do.
The individual flights are as listed and NOT in the final finishing order.
Masters results
P - 25 results, individual scores to follow
P - 25 Individual scores attached.
