Please note that this competition has been redesignated as a BMFA Centralised event.
Pilots chosing to fly 2 x P's and one F will accrue points counting towards the BMFA centralised league but not points in the National league.
Any questions post them here.

Hi Adrian
I see that my name is on the entry list, but I haven't entered. I'll be at the World Cup competition in St Macaire that weekend. I'm not sure how my name got on the list?
Good question Kevin, I will remove you but best of luck in France.
A
Good luck Kev and anyone else from the UK going!

Apologies to all, but as we have no full time judges available for this competition we will be relying on pilot competitors to sit in the judges chairs. Not ideal i know but if comps are to go ahead this is the only way forward, many thanks to those who have already volunteered.
Adrian
On Adrian's behalf here is the flight order for Ashbourne on Sunday.
Any errors or omissions please let me know ASAP.
Naurally, being Ashbourne, Graham is once again cloudbase checker
Phil
Only problem is Graham may not be there first thing in the morning due to the travel distance
Hello Adrian
Due to unforeseen circumstances I am able to come to the comp on Sunday.
I'm very sorry for the late notice and hope that all goes well for the day.
Best regards
Keith
Hi all, before Phil posts results here I thought I would chime in and thank him for all his efforts at keeping our notaumatics running smothly so that we are able to declare the competition results within minutes of the last flight
landing. Cd's like me would really be in the 'Tom Tit' without Phils' expertese and support.
Pilot judges saved the comp today with their goodwill and willingness to fill the judges chairs so that we were able to complete all 3 rounds. Thanks also for the support of pilots who travelled long distances to support the comp.
Of course thanks to DRFC for allowing us to use their site today.
Adrian CD
Thank you to Adrian, Phil and all judges for a great competition today. Thank you also to DRFC 👍
Mike & Kazie
On Adrian's behalf here are the full results of today's Ashbourne competition.
Phil
Big thanks to Adrian, Phil, Ross and the pilot judges for helping to make this event run. Congratulations to Graham, Steve and Dan. Well flown in some windy conditions.
Would someone who left a chair on the flight line at Ashbourne on Sunday claim it please.
I have it.
Adrian
Hi. Just scanning the results chaps - the P event should not have been normalised - and is not normalised in any 1 day competition.
At Centralised events there are 2 separate competitions :-
1. The Centralised competition - 2 P & 1 F rounds. Open to BMFA members i.e who need not be members of UkF3a.
Results are normalised and tabulated using the normalised scores & entered in the Centralised league table.
2. National League competition i.e Members of UKF3A only.
Results are not normalised & based on the best 2 score added. Results are then normalised to a 10 base & tabulated in the National League table.
Hi Adrian,
I think it was mine. Ill get it at the next Ashbourne event.
Thanks
Keith
I'll publish the current league tables next week.
Stuart is correct about the normalisation, so the P only and Masters will use the raw scores, while the Centralised will use the normalised scores.
Hi Kevin I thought we had had a conversation and decided to re classify comps with p&f pilots as Centralised. so Ashbourne was run in this way and certs provided by the bmfa for the p&f group were presented. This with the P&F pilots agreeing to judge the Masters and P only group was the only way for the competition to go ahead. Clearly without any full time or volunteer judges the CD's have a problem.
