Although still months away and finishing this years UKF3A flying season, it has been decided to open up this competition in order to allow those members who are interested time to plan around the date.
Last years event at the Phoenix Club, situated adjacent to the M25 was a great success and showcased the new P25 schedule, this year everyone will have flown or watched it many times.
Entries are invited across all schedules but especially Clubman and Intermediate.
It is also an opportunity for those who still have a credit from the cancelled Spring Opener to transfer it to this Comp.

Just a rally call for more entries please.
The Phoenix club has once again offered us the use of their excellent flying facilities and it would be very embarrassing to have to cancel due to lack of entries.
There are still a number of UKF3A members with a credit note to use up either from the cancelled Spring Opener or other comps, here is the ideal opportunity to use it.
There is still room for a few more entries please.
The Phoenix club has once again offered the Association the use of their excellent flying facilities with the major trunk road networks close by. Plus there is some very reasonably priced accommodation close by for anyone wishing to stay the night before.
There are still a number of UKF3A members with a credit note to use up either from the cancelled Spring Opener or other comps, this is the ideal opportunity to use it.
This will be the last flying competition for this years season, a link to an entry form can be found in the opening thread.
Thanks Graham.
Just to add the club room will be warm and dry with hot drinks available at all times. The site is available on Saturday if anyone fancies a practice. It will be a normal club day so flying alongside others would be the case.
Looking forward to it.
Just one entry space left before a reserve list is started
I'm not going to be able to make it on Sunday I'm afraid.
Ginny's brother from Canada is on his way to Cyprus and has a stopover at Heathrow. Sod's Law has ensured that Sunday is the day and Ginny would like to see him. As he is now 80, it's an opportunity not to miss. I therefore have dog breath to contend with which limits my movements.
Have a great day
Al.
Message for those wishing to practice on Saturday. The club have asked if we could ask guests to arrive at anytime (and enjoy their hospitality) but to fly from 2-30 onwards as they are expecting a busy morning. I will need your bmfa number to pass to the club by Friday as well please.
Many thanks........
The plans for Sunday's Comp are as follows:-
Arrivals from 8.00am.
To gain access through the entrance gate, please call either Garry Peacock or Eugene Anker on their mobile number which can be found in the MEMBERS ONLY section on this forum. Any difficulties, please message me.
Failsafe checks in accordance with UKF3A & BMFA policies, self regulated.
Pilot Briefing 8.30am
First flight 8.45am
All schedule's to be flown in this order across all 3 rounds.
MASTERS, INTERMEDIATE, CLUBMAN, FAI P-25, FAI P & F25
Flight orders will be published here on Thursday.
Looking forward to meeting everyone for this end of Season comp.
Flight orders for Sunday's competition. I have not posted Clubman as there is only one entry in this schedule.
FAI P & F 25 flight orders
As Garry posted above (thread #3) there will be Teas/Coffees available all day but please your own Cup or Mug.
Also, since last year, the Phoenix Club now has a unisex flush toilet facility.
PLEASE NOTE Flight orders for P - 25 and P & F 25 have had to be revised, please disregard the previous version.
New copies will be posted up at the Competition.
Also, Intermediate and Masters remain unchanged and to avoid any confusion the schedule order to be flown will be as planned:-
MASTERS, INTERMEDIATE, CLUBMAN, P - 25, P & F - 25 across all 3 rounds.
Graham & all
thank you all for a great day very enjoyable, sorry I had to shoot off early but hope to see you all soon
Regards
Eugene
Good morning all,
First thanks to Graham followed by judges Phill, all helpers, callers and the Phoenix club etc , such a great season passed and added another nice page into our memory,
Hop to see you all soon,
Javad,
Thanks again to all, great facilities at the Pheonix club, wind was kind and another enjoyable day. Feedback from Judges was so relevant and helped big time to enhance my scores.
Its been great to get back into flying after far too long away for the last few comps of the season, will be better prepared for next season and look forward to many more great flying days. appreciate all the support and calling from Gary, Kevin and Ross this year..
Enjoy the winter break and stay safe.
Thank you to Graham, all judges, Phil and the Phoenix Club for a great comp yesterday. Looking forward to some much needed winter practice and then meeting up with everyone next year. Great to see some new faces yesterday 👍
Firstly, a big thank you to John Greenfield and members of the Phoenix club for offering us the use of their site to allow us to run the Grand Finale for 2024
Another big thank you to both Chris Bond and Nico Bléas who judged continuously throughout all 50 flights, such a sterling job and greatly appreciated. Many thanks also to Eddie Scott, Kevin, Garry and Adrian for stepping into the rotational judging third seat, again really appreciated. Thanks also to Phil for his support with the Notaumatics especially when the odd glitch occurred.
I would also like express our thanks to John Greenfield, Steve Roberts, Steve Hartley, Darren Dorgan and Matt Dorgan all of whom had either never entered or not for a very long time an aerobatic competition. Hopefully we'll see you at some competitions next year?
Apologies for not having the results posted as yet, but the zip file that Phil downloaded at the comp became corrupted. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I haven't been able to send on to Phil the original file that's still in the Raspberry Pi that stores all the scores, most likely tomorrow now.
As stated in Grahams post yesterday here are the final score results from the end of the season competition.
P & P & F in a second post.
Phil
P & P & F results.
